Seth is a former Richland County prosecutor whose extensive courtroom and litigation experience brought him to McGowan, Hood & Felder, LLC. As an Assistant Solicitor, Seth prosecuted crimes ranging from DUI to Murder. Seth now focuses his practice on helping injury victims or those accused of criminal offenses.

Seth Rose joined the team of South Carolina injury lawyers at McGowan, Hood & Felder, LLC after being elected to Richland County Council in November of 2010. Sworn into office in January 2011, Seth represents Richland County Council District Five, which includes Five Points, the Vista, the campuses of the University of South Carolina, Allen University and Benedict College as well as surrounding areas and neighborhoods.

Seth attended the University of South Carolina, where he was a First Team All-America singles tennis player for the Gamecocks (one of six in the history of the Gamecock tennis program). Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. A former Richland County Prosecutor, Seth joins the firm with a wealth of courtroom and trial experience. He is an active community volunteer and has served for several years as a tennis coach for the Special Olympics of South Carolina.

He and his wife Anna, a pharmacist, reside in Columbia and are members of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Seth and Anna had their first child this summer.
